There's a simple directness to this wine. But, the flavors are delicious, consisting of ripe cherries and pomegranates, with a seemingly fruity sweetness that belies the dry finish. There's also plenty of tart acidity and tannins. All of the parts, including the oak, haven't come together, so give it a 3–4 years in the cellar.
