A rich nose of honey, marmalade and yeast opens to full apple and lemon-custard flavors. There’s fullness, but also a less-than-sparkling quality that’s a little disappointing considering the Krug pedigree. Medium-weight, it finishes with buttery, oaky complexity but not the length you’d expect.
